ExxonMobil Engineers recommend switching over your current operating grease to a product that is more efficient, more cost-sufficient and longer lasting; Mobilith SHC 220.
A Mexican building materials manufacturer operating a set of Fuller pumps in extreme conditions have experienced a raised operating temperature of 120 degrees Celsius. Over a period of 15 months, this led to the costly replacement of 62 roller bearings. The manufacturer asked ExxonMobil to recommend a lubricant capable of providing protection in extreme temperatures. The answer was Mobilith SHC 220. By switching to this premier grease, the Fuller pumps have achieved reduced equipment downtime, cut maintenance costs and curbed grease consumption.
Formulated with a wax-free synthetic base fluid and lithium complex thickener, Mobilith SHC 220 grease is perfectly designed for applications in extreme temperatures. Engineers also proposed implementing a re-greasing interval schedule, this prolongs machine life, which of course will cut costs in the future.
Seven months after the move to Mobilith SHC 220, maintenance personnel had only replaced 10 roller bearings. The manufacturer also successfully reduced grease consumption and labour costs, while eliminating the need for external fan cooling. The switch to Mobilith SHC 220 accounted for approximately USD $24,790 in annual savings - a testament to just how crucial it can be to use Mobil greases in your machines.
